fireflies

i made this painting recently

i always LOVE fireflies, and the fireflies song. then one day on my favorite show, this song took on a new meaning. i get misty watching this every single time — a true inspiration ….

a dove tree

 

the first time i saw a dove tree blooming was at the san francisco botanical garden/strybing arboretum.

it was like a tree of white doves flying in the gentle wind. i was in awe.

this painting was completed a few weeks ago. one day i will plant a dove tree by our house =)
